Wonderful chess board and amazing pieces , good handicraft work , somehow in transport 2 pawns had got a bit damaged , but the owner sent additional pawns immediately with out charging for it , very approachable person and down to earth .will recommend anyone wanting to purchase and definitely go for it

Very nice wooden chess board. Looks very classy. The board has a velvet lining material in the bottom of the board. The pieces (bought separately on this site) slide on the board in a smooth fashion.

Considering these boards are not mass produced, really loved the board. Its made our office pure wood unlike the board that I got along with every expensive sandalwood pieces, which was made out of plywood. Ofcourse the earlier set I am referring to is more than 30 years old.

The finish is good. The inner lining for storing pieces is also good.
Actual delivery time was also accurate
Packing was also okay.
All un all a happy customer

This review is posted within first 4 days of receipt of the board. So cannot comment about the sturdiness and longevity yet. However I do not see any concerns on that front.
