The craftsmanship on my Boss Handicrafts chessboard is genuinely impeccable - the wood grain and finish alone tell you someone cared about getting this right. I ordered the 12-inch luxury magnetic chessboard for myself, followed by two more orders of the same chessboard for friends and family who played on it at my place. Up close, the finish on the wood is stunning - clearly hand-finished rather than mass-produced. The magnetic pieces sit securely on the board. It's refreshing to see a business still dedicated to the craft of creating something with real love and sweat instead of cutting corners. I'm already looking at a fourth custom order, as a gift for someone in family, which should tell you how much I trust the quality.
